What are Sudafed Congestion & Headache Relief Max Strength Capsules?
Sudafed Congestion & Headache Relief Max Strength Capsules help relieve the symptoms of pain and congestion caused by sinusitis, which include stuffy nose, blocked sinuses, headache, fever, aches and pains. The capsules can also relieve tiredness and drowsiness. Each tablet contains Phenylephrine hydrochloride, Caffeine and Paracetamol.
How does Sudafed Max Strength treat headaches and congestion?
Sudafed Max Strength contains Paracetamol, Caffeine and Phenylephrine that work together to relieve headaches and congestion.
What is sinusitis?
Sinusitis is the name for what happens when your sinuses swell. This swelling is usually caused by infection and usually clears up by itself within 2 or 3 weeks. If you have sinusitis you may notice the following symptoms:
- Sinus headaches.
- Blocked nose.
- Pain, swelling, and tenderness around the cheeks, eyes, or nose.
- High temperature.
- Bad breath.
Uses / Instructions
Swallow whole with water. Do not chew.
Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
Take 2 capsules every 4 hours as required.
- Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
- Do not take more than 8 capsules in 24 hours.
- Do not give to children under 12 years.
Side Effects
Sudafed Congestion & Headache Relief Max Strength Capsules can have side-effects, like all medicines, although these don’t affect everyone and are usually mild.
Unknown side-effects are:
â– bronchospasm
â– restlessness, anxiety, nervousness, irritability, agitation
Rare side-effects are:
â– allergic reactions such as skin rash
â– nausea (feeling sick) or vomiting (being sick) or diarrhoea
â– headache, tremor, dizziness
â– difficulty sleeping (insomnia)
â– fast, slow or irregular heart beat (palpitations)
â– high blood pressure
â– glaucoma
â– problems or pain passing urine
â– sudden weight loss, loss of appetite and yellowing of the eyes and skin
