Description
Germoloids Ointment contains the active ingredients zinc oxide and lidocaine hydrochloride. Zinc oxide is an antiseptic that has soothing and protective properties, while lidocaine is a local anaesthetic which helps relieve pain and itching. Germoloids Ointment also includes antiseptic properties, which act as a lubricant to aid the passing of stools whilst reducing straining bowel movements.
When it comes to choosing Germoloids Ointment or Germoloids Cream, it is simply a matter of personal preference. You can rest assured that both have the same active ingredients; however the ointment base has a slightly thicker formulation than the cream base, with lubricating properties.
