The name of your medicine is Dioralyte Natural/Citrus/Blackcurrant Sachets (called Dioralyte throughout this leaflet). Dioralyte works by replacing the water and salts lost from your body when you have diarrhoea. It contains glucose and salts (these are sodium chloride, potassium chloride and disodium hydrogen citrate)
Dioralyte powder solution provides fast and effective replacement of body salts and treats dehydration caused by acute diarrhoea. Contains pre-cooked rice powder and salts that are specially formulated to support people suffering from the effects of diarrhoea.
This powder should be mixed with water before use.
Caution when using Dioralyte Sachets:
The active substances are pre-cooked rice powder, sodium citrate, sodium chloride and potassium chloride. The other ingredients are hypromellose, aspartame, blackcurrant or Cirtus flavour, purified water and ethanol 96%
