What is the difference between colds and flu?

The main difference between a cold and the flu is the severity of the symptoms, flu symptoms are much more severe than that of a cold. One way to tell the difference between a cold and flu is the severity of a fever. If you have a cold, you may see your temperature rise a little, but those with the flu will usually develop a higher fever that can last for 3 – 4 days before breaking. How does this product treat colds and flu?

Nurofen Cold and Flu contains two active ingredients which are effective in relieving cold and flu symptoms. The first of these ingredients is ibuprofen, an anti-inflammatory which works to relieve pains, headaches, swelling, and can help to reduce a fever. The second active ingredient is phenylephrine hydrochloride which works as a nasal decongestant, reducing swelling in the passages of your nose and relieving congestion.
