Description
Pregestimil LIPIL is a casein-based extensively hydrolysed formula (eHCF) with a high level of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) oil, especially designed for infants and young children with cow’s milk/soya allergy and/or fat maldigestion and malabsorption.
Nutritionally complete formula, Pregestimil LIPIL is suitable from birth and can be used as a sole source of nutrition in infants up to 6 months of age or as part of a varied diet for older infants and young children.

Uses / Instructions
Wash hands thoroughly. Clean bottles, teats, caps and utensils in water (10 minutes at a rolling boil).
Boil fresh water. Cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Do not use softened water. Pour desired amount of water into clean sterilised bottle.
Add required number of level scoops of powder (see feeding guidelines). Store dry scoop in the can.
Close bottle, roll and shake well until powder dissolves completely (for at least 1 minute). Check temperature on inside of your wrist.
Once prepared, formula can spoil quickly. Feed immediately after preparation or cover and store in a refrigerator at 2-4°C for no longer than 24 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula and do not use if unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. Use formula that has been in contact with the infant’s mouth within 1 hour and do not refrigerate. Throw away prepared formula left in bottle and clean utensils. Do not use a microwave to warm formula.
Indications:
Pregestimil LIPIL is a Food for Special Medical Purposes indicated for the dietary management of cow’s milk/soya allergy and for maldigestion/malabsorption with symptoms such as protracted diarrhoea, gastrointestinal symptoms or failure to thrive. Pregestimil should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems, unless directed and supervised by a healthcare professional. Pregestimil is not suitable for vegans, vegetarians or those who follow a halal or kosher diet.
