Description

Savlon Antiseptic Cream is used to cleanse and help prevent infection, cuts & grazes, insect bites & stings, minor burns & scalds, shaving cuts and other skin problems. It is an antiseptic hand cream, suitable for blisters & sores, chapped skin, nappy rash, spots, blackheads and sunburn.

Is Savlon suitable for use on children?

Savlon Antiseptic Cream and Savlon Advanced Healing Cream are suitable for use on children. Savlon Dual Action Gel and Savlon Bites & Stings Pain Relief Gel are suitable for children aged 12+.

Can Savlon be used internally?

No, all Savlon products are strictly for external use only and should not be used internally. Avoid contact with the eyes, middle ear, meninges and other nervous tissue.

Uses / Instructions

With clean hands gently apply cream to the affected area. Do not use on the eyes or ears.

Warnings

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, especially Chlorhexidine as it may cause allergic reactions.
Cetostearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions.
Parahydroxypenzoates may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Use this medicine only on your skin.

STOP using and seek medical help immediately if you have any of the following very rare allergic reactions:

difficulty breathing
swelling of the face, tongue or throat
dizziness
skin irritation or rash.
