Gaviscon Peppermint Flavour Tablets – 24 Peppermint Tablets

Gaviscon Peppermint Flavour Tablets bring relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acide indigestion, which for example, can occur after meals or during pregnancy. This product belongs to a group of medicines called “reflux suppressants”, which form a protective layer on top of the stomach contents to prevent stomach acid escaping from the stomach where it works into the food pipe causing pain and discomfort.

Uses / Instructions

Directions for usage:

Adults and children over 12 years: 2-4 tablets.
Children 6-12 years: 1-2 tablets.

Take as required after meals and before going to bed, up to 4 times a day or as directed. Chew tablets thoroughly before swallowing and follow with water if desired. If symptoms persist see your doctor.

The maximum total daily intake (16 tablets) for adults contains 984mg of sodium (take into account if on a low sodium diet) and 4.1g mannitol. Products containing mannitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Contains Phenylalanine, mannitol, aspartame, sulphites and sodium. This product does not contain gluten or artificial colouring. Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended for children under 6 years. If symptoms persist see your doctor.

If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor. Contains sodium and calcium. If you have been advised to follow a diet restricted in either of these salts please consult your doctor before taking this product. If you have phenylketonuria, note that this product is sweetened with aspartame (E951), a source of phenylalanine. See enclosed leaflet for further information.
