Description
Aloe Pure is made from the whole leaf of organically grown aloe ferox plants.
Aloe Ferox (Cape Aloe) is native to South Africa, it is a large and showy evergreen succulent with a dense rosette of blue-green, lance-shaped leaves, with rose. Each robust leaf has dark brown spikes along the edges, the plant produces bright red-orange, tubular flowers. The leaves grow upto 90cm and the plant itself can grow up to 180 – 270cm and 90cm – 160cm wide.
The Aloe Ferox plant is valued for its colourless leaf gel and bitter brown exudate. The gel is popular within cosmetic ingredient, herbal remedies and food supplements – so versatile that it can be used on the skin and taken orally.
The leaf contains active enzymes to help break down and dissolve foods. The yellow gel contained on the inside of the aloe leaf has been used for centuries as a natural, safe, non-addicting internal cleanse.
